Build a route before you total the costs

Before setting a total, note your group size, where you will stay and which days you plan to take. A trip to several far-apart beaches has different transport and parking costs from one focused on a single area. Sardegna Houses has homes in two different locations: Arzachena is inland, while FamilyHouse Pevero Hill is in Pantogia, Porto Cervo. Beach visits involve travel that belongs in the plan.

Split your worksheet into accommodation, arrival in Sardinia, local transport, fuel or car hire, parking, meals, tickets and booked activities. Enter confirmed items first and mark seasonal costs as provisional. A useful budget does not need invented daily prices; it should show which decisions can raise or lower your total.

Parking, sites and activities follow different rules

The Municipality of Arzachena publishes 2026 tickets and passes for certain municipal parking areas. Check which areas, dates and terms are covered in the current notice; do not apply the same price to private car parks or other localities. The page is year-specific and may be replaced, so recheck it for future travel.

Archaeological sites also have their own tickets and hours, which the municipality updates. Check the site you actually plan to visit rather than a generic list, and see whether a guided tour or combined ticket changes the cost. In La Maddalena Park, some boating activities require authorisation. A ferry ticket is not permission to navigate or anchor, and a boating permit does not authorise entry into an integral reserve.

Compare scenarios without making up figures

Make two versions of your trip. In a simple version, choose a few nearby areas and independent visits where allowed. In a booked-activities version, add confirmed excursion, entry and parking costs. Comparing them shows the cost of choices without pretending different experiences have one standard price. For each figure, note its source, date and what it includes.

Cala Coticcio and Cala Brigantina, for example, have regulated land access, require an environmental hiking guide and involve separate contributions. Contact an authorised guide and check Park information before entering amounts or availability. For a boat trip, ask what the quote covers and whether permissions, meals or transfers are included. A price means little without knowing what is part of it.

Check everything again before leaving

Match each cost to your actual dates: parking, sites, transport and beach services may be seasonal or updated. Do not assume a 2026 rate will remain valid in 2027. Check public authority pages, then contact the operator if something is unclear. Save bookings and copies of the rules that affect access.

Leave a modest reserve for itinerary changes and unexpected travel without presenting it as a certain cost. A good budget supports a choice: one base with planned trips, fewer days driving, or one special booked activity. Set a per-person limit and make sure confirmed costs fit before you buy.
